How Much Time Will My Massage Take?
How much time will my massage take?
If you arrive on time and allow five minutes for changing and settling in, your treatment is timed from the moment that ‘hands on’ starts. If you’ve booked yourself somewhere important to be afterwards, please let me know so that I can finish in time for you not to rush off afterwards.

How Do I Pay?
How do I pay?
You can pay by cash, or by BACS transfer (online banking), or pingit, or paypal. Payment is normally made after the session, but for weekend bookings from new clients the fee is payable no later than 24 hours in advance (see also information on cancellations).

What Should I Wear?
Whatever is comfortable for you. When I receive my massage, I like to wear something warm and cosy for afterwards, if the weather is cool. In summer I might bring a light extra layer, as the body temperature often can drop a little as you relax.

What Information Do You Require About Me?
Before your first treatment there are some simple forms to fill in.
The first is for contact details (name, address, contact phone numbers, date of birth, and so on). This is an insurance requirement, and enables me to hold proper records on each client, which protects both of us.
One example of needing to have this essential information is in the event of needing to call for medical assistance for someone on my premises – I need to give information to the emergency services in the event of you falling ill during your appointment.
Within the rules of the Data Protection Act, this information is not passed on to any third parties and is kept securely and confidentially.
The second form enables me to have your relevant medical information. It is not an exhaustive form, but lets me check any medications or conditions which I may need to make allowances for, and know of any contraindications to treatment. This is for your safety and to allow me to work as effectively as possible.
If you wish, you can ask for these forms to be emailed to you, to be returned no later than 24 hours before your appointment. This may save you booking in for a treatment which is not suitable for you right now. For instance, if you currently have shingles, or are running a temperature, or have had major surgery recently.
Please note that receiving a massage with me is dependent upon providing completed and signed form. The paperwork can be done here before your session commences.

Cancellation Policy
I understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. So that I can be helpful and fair to all clients, please read and observe the following policies.
24 hour advance notice is required when cancelling a treatment appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give 24 hours advance notice you will be charged the full amount of your appointment, to be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment, unless you are running a temperature, have a contagious disease, have a stomach or sickness bug, or need to tend a child with the same, in which case there is no charge as long as the appointment is rebooked within a week or other reasonable time.
No-shows
Missing appointments will be charged for and the amount outstanding must be paid before your next scheduled appointment. All vouchers and gift certificates become null and void at the time of a missed appointment.Late Arrivals
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, payment is due in full. Please allow enough time to consult the directions and arrive on time. Do please call me if you need clarification or further instructions.
